Q1: What is Likho AI?
A: Likho AI is an AI content platform for Indian-language publishers. It generates blog articles natively in Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Gujarati, and English-India, and publishes directly to WordPress and Blogger. Operated by Likho Labs, available at likholabs.in.
Q2: Who founded Likho AI?
A: Likho AI was founded by Om Kumar in 2026. The company is registered as Likho Labs, based in India. The founder personally responds to user inquiries on free and Starter tiers.
Q3: What does "Likho" mean?
A: Likho (लिखो) is the Hindi imperative form of the verb "to write." The product name reflects its core purpose — helping creators write in Indian languages.
Q4: How is Likho AI different from LIKHO.ai on Graphy?
A: They're unrelated products with similar names. Likho AI / Likho Labs (this site, likholabs.in) is an AI content platform for Indian-language publishers. LIKHO.ai on Graphy (likho.graphy.com) is an education courses platform run by a different team. The two serve completely different audiences.
Q5: Where is Likho AI based?
A: India. Servers are in India and Singapore for low latency. INR billing with GST invoices is standard.

Pricing and billing

Q6: Is Likho AI free?
A: Yes, the free tier is permanently free. You can generate 1 article per day, in any of the 7 supported languages, with no credit card required. Sign up at likholabs.in.
Q7: How much does Likho AI cost?
A: Four tiers:
  • Free: ₹0/month, 1 article per day
  • Starter: ₹499/month, 30 articles per month
  • Pro: ₹1,499/month, unlimited articles + bulk generation + WordPress/Blogger publishing
  • Agency: Custom pricing, multi-author teams and white-label

Plus AI inference cost (typically ₹100–₹400/month for active users) paid directly to your provider.

Q8: What's BYOK pricing and why does Likho use it?
A: BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) means you connect your own API key from OpenRouter, Anthropic, or OpenAI. You pay AI inference cost directly to your provider, at provider rates. Likho charges only a flat platform fee. This typically reduces total cost by 60–75% compared to flat-fee competitors at active usage levels.
Q9: How do I pay for Likho AI?
A: All billing is through Razorpay in INR. Supported methods: UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, EMI. GST invoices auto-generate monthly.
Q10: Can I cancel my subscription?
A: Yes, anytime. From Account → Billing → Cancel. Cancellation is immediate; you keep access until the end of the current billing period. No retention contracts, no cancellation fees.
Q11: Do you offer refunds?
A: Pro-rated refunds for unused portions of paid subscriptions, requested within 7 days of payment. See our Refund Policy for full terms.
Q12: Is there a free trial of paid plans?
A: The free tier is permanently free, which works better than a 7-day trial for most users. If you specifically want to test Pro features (bulk generation, brand voice), email founder@likholabs.in and we'll enable a 7-day Pro trial.

A: Seven languages today:

Q14: Why is Hindi output better on Likho than ChatGPT?
A: ChatGPT and similar tools generate Hindi by translating from English internally — they plan in English, then translate at the last step. Q15: Can Likho write in multiple languages within a single article?
A: Yes — Hindi articles can naturally include English loanwords (the way Hindi writers actually write in 2026). For fully bilingual articles, generate sections separately and combine in the editor.
Q16: Does Likho support pure English (not Indian English)?
A: Likho's English mode is calibrated for Indian audiences — examples, references, and cultural context relevant to India. For US/UK English content, ChatGPT or Claude direct are better fits.

Q17: Can Likho publish to WordPress?

A: Yes, via Blogger API v3. OAuth connection to your Google account once, then one-click publishing.
Q19: Does Likho support Substack, Ghost, or Medium?
A: Direct publishing is WordPress and Blogger only today. For Substack, Ghost, Medium, or Notion, download as Markdown or HTML and import manually. Direct integrations for Ghost and Substack are on the 2026 roadmap.
Q20: Can Likho generate images?
A: No. Likho is text-only. Pair with Unsplash, Midjourney, DALL-E, or Stable Diffusion for images.
Q21: Can Likho generate code or technical content?
A: Likho can include code snippets in technical tutorials (e.g., HTML or PHP for a WordPress tutorial in Hindi). It's not a dedicated code-generation tool — for actual programming work, use GitHub Copilot or similar.
Q22: Does Likho have a mobile app?
A: Not yet. The web app is mobile-responsive and works on phones. Native iOS and Android apps are planned for late 2026.

Account and technical

Q23: How do I sign up for Likho AI?
A: Go to likholabs.in and click "Start free." Sign up with Google or email. No credit card required for the free tier. Account setup takes about 60 seconds.
Q24: Do I need an API key to use Likho?
A: Yes — Likho is BYOK. You connect your own key from OpenRouter, Anthropic, or OpenAI. Getting an OpenRouter key takes 2 minutes; a ₹500–₹1,000 top-up typically lasts a month of moderate use.
Q25: Can I switch AI providers later?
A: Yes. Account → AI Provider → connect or disconnect any provider. You can also switch the default model per article.
Q26: What if generation fails?
A: Most failures are due to insufficient credit in your AI provider account (check first). If credits are fine, click "Regenerate." For persistent issues, contact founder@likholabs.in — usually resolved within a few hours.
Q27: How is Likho's workflow different from ChatGPT's?
A: Likho is purpose-built for Indian-language blog publishing — language selection, content templates, SEO-ready output, brand voice profiles, and one-click WordPress/Blogger publishing all in one flow. Privacy and data

Q28: Is Likho AI safe to use? Is my content private?
A: Yes. Likho does not train AI models on your content. Because Likho is BYOK, your inference traffic goes through your own provider account (OpenRouter, Anthropic, OpenAI) — their privacy policies apply, and all three have explicit policies that API content is not used for training. Your account data and generated articles are stored encrypted in Indian/Singapore data centers. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
Q29: Does Likho store my AI provider API keys?
A: Yes, encrypted at rest, used only for your inference requests. You can revoke or change the key anytime from Account → AI Provider.
Q30: Can I export all my data?
A: Yes. Account → Settings → Export — downloads all your generated articles, brand voice profiles, and account history as a ZIP. Also: Account → Settings → Delete Account permanently removes everything within 30 days.
